  • Education - four-year college degree
  • Background check - experience, education, financial, integrity
  • Report Writing Proficiency - demonstrated ability to adhere to the standards of USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice), as well as the American Society of Appraisers' code of ethics
  • Educated and Tested in Appraisal Theory - completed a minimum of 4 Principles of Valuations courses, USPAP course, and ongoing continued education courses.
  • Reaccredited by the ASA every 5 years - completed a USPAP course and met the minimum requirement of 100 CEUs every 5 years
